school so far

I survived the first day of school yesterday, complete with all the kindergarteners in the school, including three criers, one child with autism, and a pants-wetter. Third graders in afterschool program were insane. Today we are going to go over school rules. And the Ms C rules.

 

So far today, I have made my to-do list (Item 1, figure out how to put the fear into those third graders! Item 2, write the "today was your child's first day at the library" letter to parents), and bought a watch and a whistle. My breakfast this morning is a Cherry Coke and an Almond Joy from the Wednesday morning snacks in the staff room.

 

I think I'm going to like it here.
